Ice Fishing tip-up habits for mobile sessions

These are desk habits I use before I open an Ice Fishing app — not store promises.

  1. Read the App Store age rating and purchase model before you stage a tip-up night.
  2. Check the last update date. An Ice Fishing card from 2010 is a different bet than a 2026 refresh.
  3. Note the install size. Monster Fishing 2026 and Catch It both sit above 300 MB on the listing I checked.
  4. Confirm iOS version. Older Family titles may show an update-needed notice on the store card.
  5. Expect advertising or IAP only when the listing says so — I do not invent monetization.
  6. Keep one tip-up goal: short arcade cast vs long simulation session.
  7. Use the review notes on this desk, then install from the App Store — never from a third-party binary here.
  8. If App Privacy is missing, treat that as a fact on the card, not a secret score.
  9. Re-check ratings after a major version bump; my last pass was 22 October 2026.
  10. When a title has one rating, say so — thin trails belong in the tip-up notes.
  11. Prefer landscape stills and icons at natural ratio; cropped art lies about the session.
  12. Send corrections to the contact card if a listing fact drifts after my check.
